FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any hidden fees or charges for the recruitment process?

Hayabusa Nepal strictly follows a transparent, zero-hidden-fee policy. All costs are openly discussed with candidates before signing any contracts, fully adhering to the legal guidelines of the Government of Nepal and Japan.

How long does the processing take from interview to departure?

On average, the process takes about 4 to 6 months after successfully passing your employer interview. This timeframe includes the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) processing in Japan, visa application, and mandatory pre-departure orientation.

What Japanese language level is required to apply?

For the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program, you must officially pass the JFT-Basic or JLPT N4 exam. For TITP, basic conversational Japanese (N5/N4 equivalent) is highly recommended. Our Hayabusa Language Academy provides complete training to help you pass these requirements.

What are the basic requirements to apply for jobs in Japan?

You need a valid passport, a clear medical and police record, and a strong willingness to learn the Japanese language and culture. Specific SSW sectors will also require you to pass the corresponding Prometric skill evaluation test.

What is the main difference between the TITP and SSW programs?

TITP (Technical Intern Training Program) focuses on international skills transfer, allowing you to train in Japan while working. SSW (Specified Skilled Worker) is a dedicated employment visa to address labor shortages, requiring candidates to already possess certain skills and Japanese language proficiency before applying.

Is a medical checkup mandatory before applying, and what health conditions could disqualify me?

Yes, passing a comprehensive medical examination at a government-authorized clinic is mandatory for both TITP and SSW visas. Candidates must be physically and mentally fit for long-term work. Conditions such as severe chronic illnesses, infectious diseases, or major color blindness (depending on specific industrial sectors like construction or manufacturing) may restrict eligibility.

What happens if I fail my first interview with a Japanese employer? Can I apply again?

Absolutely. Failing an interview is simply a stepping stone. Our team will review the interview with you, provide feedback on areas of improvement (such as conversational confidence or body language), and immediately match you with the next available vacancy that aligns with your skillset.

Is there an official age limit to apply for the TITP or SSW programs through Hayabusa Nepal?

Generally, applicants should be between 18 and 35 years old to meet the standard expectations of most Japanese employers. However, for certain specialized SSW categories, highly experienced candidates slightly above this range may still be considered depending on the employer's specific requirements.
